ELOIN LAMP.

CONSTRUCTION.
Chimney. Cylindrical 41/2 ins high with gauze cap.
Lock. Screw, operated from middle ring, through a hollow standard.
Standards. Seven.
Burner. ? ins. flat wick.
Air Inlet. Under the sliding cover of the bottom ring, through a gauze cylinder, the framework of which directed the air to the flame.
Glass. 2 ins high, outer surface concave to act as a lens. The glass is 
bound with brass at top and bottom.

CONSTRUCTION.
A 28 mesh iron gauze 2 1/2 ins high tapering from 11/4 ins to 3/4 ins has been introduced. The gauze is secured by a screw ring.
Air inlet is through a perforated brass cylinder in the bottom ring and then passes through a horizontal gauze secured to the burner, and thence to the flame.
